UX Designer - mobile flows (San Jose, CA)

Ironwood Cross Health Group is a healthcare provider in San Jose with clinics and support teams, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. Continuing education is supported. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around electronic records that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in electronic records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
