UX Designer - mobile flows (San Diego, CA)

Greenridge Meadow Insurance is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on mobile flows for catastrophe response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around catastrophe response that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in catastrophe response. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
