UX Designer - mobile flows (San Diego, CA)

Greenridge Iron Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around San Diego, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Design for tasks around tuition and subsidies that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in tuition and subsidies. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
