UX Designer - mobile flows (San Antonio, TX)

Foxglove Sparrow Arts Center Partners is a cultural organisation in San Antonio presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. You would join a small organisation of about 149 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in school partnerships. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
