UX Designer - mobile flows (Sacramento, CA)

Westbrook Meadow Press produces print and digital publications in Sacramento, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around press runs that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in press runs. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
