UX Designer - mobile flows (Sacramento, CA)

Northwind Kestrel Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Sacramento, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around device records that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in device records. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
