UX Designer - mobile flows (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Summit Early Learning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around family communication that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in family communication. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
