UX Designer - mobile flows (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Early Learning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in family communication. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
