UX Designer - mobile flows (Reno, NV)

Northwind Thistle Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Reno. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around store inventory that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in store inventory. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
