UX Designer - mobile flows (Reno, NV)

Greenridge Loom Early Learning runs childcare centres in Reno caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Reno. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around family communication that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in family communication. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
