UX Designer - mobile flows (Reno, NV)

Stonegate Bridge Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Reno. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in route schedules. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
