UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

Fernwood Kestrel Financial is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on mobile flows for vendor spend, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around vendor spend that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in vendor spend. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
