UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

Bluepeak Thistle Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Detroit. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in premium billing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
