UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

We are growing our team at Redstone Ridge Insurance Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Design for tasks around catastrophe response that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in catastrophe response. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Milwaukee. • We reply to every applicant.
