UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

Summit Linden Banking Services Group is a community-focused bank in Oakland serving households and small businesses. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around deposit accounts that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in deposit accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
