UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

Fernwood Ashton Arts Center is an arts centre in Honolulu with a full calendar of events, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. You would join a small organisation of about 23 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Design for tasks around school partnerships that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in school partnerships. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Honolulu. • We reply to every applicant.
