UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

Harborlight Amber Insurance is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on mobile flows for underwriting files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in underwriting files. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in El Paso. • We reply to every applicant.
