UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

Bluepeak Rook Insurance is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on mobile flows for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around claims that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in claims. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
