UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

Lumen Corner Early Learning Group is an early-learning provider in Hartford, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Design for tasks around family communication that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in family communication. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
