UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

Redstone Orchard Transit Planning Partners is a transit-planning firm in Honolulu working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in route schedules. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
