UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

Silverline Fox Early Learning Group operates neighbourhood childcare around Oakland. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around licensing records that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in licensing records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
