UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

Highbridge Fox Medical designs and makes medical devices in Hartford. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around device records that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in device records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
