UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

Fernwood Sparrow Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Honolulu presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around visitor services that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in visitor services. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Honolulu. • We reply to every applicant.
