UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

We are growing our team at Redstone North Learning Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in attendance records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
