UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

Foxglove Vale Markets serves neighbourhoods around Chicago with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. You would join a small organisation of about 38 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around shrink and waste that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in shrink and waste. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
