UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

Nova Quill Health is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on mobile flows for electronic records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 266 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around electronic records that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in electronic records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
