UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)
Lumen Harbor Transit Planning · Remote · part time
Lumen Harbor Transit Planning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on mobile flows for service alerts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work.
You would join a small organisation of about 23 people, working mostly from home.
What you will do
• Audit screens for accessibility and readability.
• Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people.
• Maintain a small design system of reusable components.
• Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails.
• Work with developers so designs ship as intended.
What we are looking for
• A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens.
• Two or more years of UX or product design experience.
• Care for plain language and accessibility.
• Comfort with Figma or a similar tool.
Nice to have
• Experience running usability tests.
• Background in service alerts.
Working arrangement
• Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons.
• Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Providence.
• We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
