UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Keystone Arts Center and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around school partnerships that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in school partnerships. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
