UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Corner Learning Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in attendance records. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
