UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Vale Community Partners and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around grant reporting that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in grant reporting. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
