UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

Bright Cedar Banking Services is a regional lender in Buffalo with branches and a growing mobile service. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around card disputes that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in card disputes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
