UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

Ironwood Pike Press is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on mobile flows for proofing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around proofing that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in proofing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
