UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

Summit Mill Arts Center is an arts centre in St. Louis with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. Everyone pitches in on show days. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around volunteer programmes that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in volunteer programmes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
