UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

We are growing our team at Westbrook North Early Learning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around family communication that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
