UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

Harborlight Thistle Community Partners is a San Antonio charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around volunteer shifts that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in volunteer shifts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
