UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

Amberfield Cobalt Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Knoxville. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. You would join a small organisation of about 75 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around complaint handling that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in complaint handling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Knoxville. • We reply to every applicant.
