UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Loom Insurance and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around underwriting files that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in underwriting files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
