UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Hollow Arts Center and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around event logistics that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in event logistics. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
