UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Iron Insurance Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around underwriting files that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in underwriting files. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
