UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

We are growing our team at Summit Thistle Insurance and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around underwriting files that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in underwriting files. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
