UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

Amberfield Meadow Press is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on mobile flows for press runs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 64 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around press runs that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in press runs. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Albuquerque. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
