UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

Bluepeak Loom Learning Group is an education provider in Houston serving students and families. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around school calendars that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in school calendars. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
