UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

Bright Loom Insurance Group is an insurance company in Charleston with claims and service teams, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around catastrophe response that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
