UX Designer - mobile flows (Raleigh, NC)

Fernwood Ridge Learning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on mobile flows for attendance records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in attendance records. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Raleigh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
