UX Designer - mobile flows (Raleigh, NC)

Nova North Learning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on mobile flows for school calendars, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around school calendars that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in school calendars. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
