UX Designer - mobile flows (Providence, RI)

Clearpath Lakeside Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Providence, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Design for tasks around accessibility audits that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
