UX Designer - mobile flows (Providence, RI)

Lumen Lantern Medical designs and makes medical devices in Providence. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around device records that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in device records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
