UX Designer - mobile flows (Portland, OR)

Nova West Banking Services Group provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Portland. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in loan files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
