UX Designer - mobile flows (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Summit Willow Insurance and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. You would join a small organisation of about 162 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around underwriting files that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in underwriting files. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
