UX Designer - mobile flows (Pittsburgh, PA)

Foxglove River Community Partners is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on mobile flows for benefits enrolment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around benefits enrolment that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
